7 is enough
(This picture was taken in year 2002 in Kuching, Sarawak. We were celebrating Raya Puasa before Dad retired from serving the Malaysian Police Force. We lived in a government mansion behind the Fort Magherita near the River which will remain as one of the best memories of our childhood years while Dad was a Police Officer)

I am lucky enough to have a family who loves Art. In fact, right from my Dad and to the youngest seventh (aged 7) in the family are talented and fairly good in drawing & painting. My Mom, although has the talent; she chooses to give full-support at the background and becomes the Art critic for us. To be given the Certificate of “Having the Most Artists in A Family” by Malaysia Book of Records is reason enough for us to be proud of our own achievement in the Art field. It doesn’t mean we are the best in Art but our love for Art has held us together and helped in many ways in life.

I am the eldest in the family. It was not my childhood ambition to be a full time artist when I grew up but I knew I wanted to be a successful person someday in whatever I do. I also knew it must have something to do with Art. Since the first time Dad taught me to draw a stick-man when I could barely hold a pencil in my small hand, I have found something that I can’t live without.

Now, I am not only a full-time artist. I am also an Art Entrepeneur with a Degree in Journalism and minors in Fine Art, Communication Studies and Psychology from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, USA. I’ve held several group art exhibitions under my belt and quite a number of awards in various art competitions I’ve entered since my school days until now.

Well, when you are passionate about something and have dreams of your own, somehow the road will lead to where you belong. At least, that’s how I feel. Still, this life is a long, long road and you never know what is in store for you at every turns, every paths and every bumps you may run into. I love life and everything is has to offer. Art is my vehicle to understand, enjoy and learn about life and its meaning. With this site, my sole intention is to share my talent with the World. And it doesn’t hurt to make some cash along the way too ;). Enjoy.
